My Background

I am passionate about my work as a massage therapist and feel honored to be able to facilitate my clients in their path to wellness.

I am a 2006 graduate from the Oregon School of Massage located in Portland, Oregon. Ever since, I have been providing quality care to my clients in my private practice. Only willing to give my clients the best care, I continually stay up to date on the latest techniques through continuing education courses. I believe in meeting clients where they are and listening to their needs to create an individualized massage.

As my bodywork experience has grown and deepened, I have become more aware of how our bodies hold on to stress not just from our present experiences, but also the hurts and vulnerabilities from the past. This led me to want to work more deeply with clients, especially those suffering from trauma, and in June of 2013, I graduated from a Two Year Comprehensive Training Program with the M.E.T.A. Institute here in Portland Oregon. Through my training, I learned to work with individuals in a gentle, mindful approach to help healing and wholeness emerge, recognizing the connection between mind and body. In March of 2016, I completed 100 hrs of training in Trauma Touch Therapy™ through the Colorado School of Healing Arts, which included a 50 hour externship and am now a Certified Trauma Touch Therapist. You can see more about this work on my Trauma Touch page.

I live in Milwaukie with my family and enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and kayaking or exploring new neighborhoods and restaurants in the local area.
